Welcome to Year 5!

Your teacher is the fantastic Mrs Woodward. We are also supported by the wonderful Miss Wilson. Let's hope we have lots of fun together this year and share all of our adventures on this page! 

Bolton Museum

Year 5 had a wonderful time on their trip to Bolton Museum last Friday. It was an exciting start to our Ancient Civilisations topic. They saw a real mummy, explored a replica tomb and enjoyed dressing each other up as Egyptian Gods and Goddesses. They were most thrilled, however, to dress their teacher as Tutankhamun! They took part in a role play to weigh the teacher's heart (Tutankhamun) in order to determine whether or not he should be allowed to enter the afterlife. It is with great relief that I can inform you that I made it!
