Paddington - what can we learn from books?

The children will focus upon the work of Michael Bond and his stories of Paddington Bear. The children will learn about the bear from Peru and what he discovered on his travels, including Machu Picchu and the Incas.

Perfectly Pleased Paddington

At the start of this half term, the children were challenged to take part in a cross-curricular project on the topic of bears. They were asked to incorporate a Maths element, an English section and to show their creativity.

Wow! What a wonderful selection of games, books, pictures, models, charts and collages were brought into school! The children presented their learning yesterday afternoon and were able to explain what they had done with great enthusiasm. Today, in Golden Time, we played all of the games and enjoyed marmalade sandwiches.
