At St Hilda's, the role of our Digital Leaders is to support the use and further the development of online safety and computing in school.
They are ambassadors for digital learning, assisting teachers, troubleshooting technical issues, and helping other students to develop their digital skills.
Our top tips for staying safe online:
- Don't say things to people online that you wouldn't say to their face - Ozzie
- Don't go on apps that are too old for you - Faith
- Don't be inappropriate when you are online - Eva
- When playing on Roblox, check the age restrictions on the game to make sure that it is appropriate for you - Mason
- If you don't know someone in real life, don't add them as a friend on games - Blake
- Be sensible if you receive a message from someone that you don't know - Stop and Block! - Ava
- Have fun when you are online but remember to stay SAFE - Alex
- Remember to treat others as you want to be treated even when online - Success
- Always check with your parents before you download apps - Faith
- Always check with your parent before you buy anything online to make sure that they are ok with it - Ruairi.
