Welcome to Year 4 2022-2023
Your class teacher is Mrs Jones and we are supported by Ms Casey. On these pages you will find out everything that you need to know about Year 4 and see what we are doing in class.

Our Class Timetable
Our timetable is on a two week cycle due to our spelling scheme.
Timetables
PE
PE is on Wednesday and Thursday.
Children must come to school wearing their PE kit.
Our school PE kit is:
- a white t-shirt
- black shorts
- pumps for indoors
- trainers of pumps for outdoors
- plain, black jogging bottoms
- Navy cardigan/sweatshirt
Branded sportswear and hoodies should not be worn.
Reading
Children are to read at least three times a week and have their planners signed by an adult. Planners will be checked on a Friday.
All children will be read with at least once a week with an adult in school and books will be changed as your child finishes their book.
Superstar Reader
This is our new reading challenge.
Children who read five times or more in a week and have their planner signed will receive a Superstar reader sticker and a prize.
