Year 4

Welcome to Year 4!

Your teacher is the fantastic Miss S.Micallef and your teaching assistant is the super Miss C. Price.

This half term we are looking at the topic, 'The Vicious Vikings' Go and have a look at our topic page down below to find out more!

Over the term we have been doing weekly gymnastic lessons with Claire from Total Gymnastics.

All of Year 4 would like to give a big well done to Heidi, who took part in the Great Manchester Run where she came 3rd Place Girl in the Mini Run! We are so proud of her effort and dedication to running. She has inspired all of us to have a go at running. She even got to meet Radzi from Blue Peter!

Our class trip to the Manchester Jewish Museum.

Homework

This week's we are looking at the 11 and 12 times tables. Please make sure you are practicing these, you can even go on www.hitthebutton.com and get a high score!

Reading remains a skill that is highly important. Therefore, we expect children to read every night with an adult and if at times this is not possible at least 10 minutes a day independently. We ask that parents/carers sign their child's homework diary to show that this has been completed on a regular basis.

Please make sure you bring your reading book in everyday.
