Excellent English

At St Hilda's we follow the Talk 4 Writing approach.  Below you can see what Year 3 will be working on each term in their English lessons.
Autumn Term 1 - Roald Dahl
This half term the children will be looking at the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, written by Roald Dahl. They will be working on creating setting descriptions, using Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory to help them do this, before writing their own wishing tale. They will then move on to writing a persuasive leaflet about their trip to Matilda the Musical!
