Spring 2 - Monarchs and Explorers
The children will learn about people who have made significant contributions in history. They will focus particularly on monarchs (Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth I) and explorers (Earnest Shackleton, Christopher Columbus and Neil Armstrong) They will compare aspects of their lives and look for similarities and differences.

We explored the school grounds using a compass. We created instructions on how to get from Year 1 to Miss Senior’s office and the art studio. We had to use the compass directions in our instructions.
