Reading Books and Library Books

Reading books will be changed on Monday and Friday; children will be expected to have read the book three times and their reading records to have been signed by an adult. Books will not be changed at any other time and we are actively encouraging the children to self-select new books.

Please send your child's book into school every day so an adult can listen to them read in school.

Your child will bring home a library book on a Wednesday and they will need to return the book the following Tuesday.

Homework

Phonics

Phonics homework books will be sent home each Friday. Books need to be returned to school the following Thursday. The newsletters to support this will be uploaded to Seesaw each week.

Numbots

The login details for the website / app are in your child's reading diary. Children are expected to access the games at home 3 x weekly.

Curriculum Homework

You are to complete 3 activities for each cycle from the homework grid which is also sent out on Parenthub. It is important that you complete the homework tasks, as these are celebrated and showcased in school throughout the year in different ways.
