Mission Statement
'Learning and growing together in Christ’
St Hilda’s provides a safe, happy and stimulating environment which empowers everyone to flourish as unique individuals and embeds a life-long love of learning. Underpinned by Christian values, every child is given the opportunity to fulfil their true potential, learning and growing together in Christ.
If you would like your child to start at St Hilda's CE (VA) Primary School in September 2026, please take a look at our admissions policy and register for your child's place using the link below. We do require a copy of your child's baptism certificate where applicable. Please take the original copy to the school office, where staff will be happy to assist you.
Open Days at St Hilda's
We hold three open days each year in the Autumn term, when prospective parents and carers can come along and visit during the school day. On these dates you have the opportunity to meet the staff and be shown around our wonderful school. Dates for September 26/27 for the September 26 intake are below:
Thursday 6th November 2025 at 1.30pm
Tuesday 25th November 2025 at 1.30pm
Tuesday 2nd December 2025 at 6.00pm
For those that are unable to attend an open day, please feel free to make an appointment to visit the school, please contact the school office.
As most of you will be aware at the start of each year parents and carers are required to fill in permission forms:
It is vital that these forms be completed and returned so that we have up to date information in case we need to contact you and also so the children don't miss out on educational opportunities.
Please contact the school office for further information.
