Black Out Poetry - Remembrance
The children used an extract from The Wizard of Oz. They selected words that linked to remembrance and blacked out the ones that were not linked.
Autumn Term 1 - Jesus the son of God
The aim of this unit is to: deepen the children’s understanding of Jesus, who he was, his teaching and behaviour. They will explore the stories of Jesus meeting and healing people and use these stories to emphasise that we believe Jesus was a man but he was also God.
Harvest Festival in church
This year the Harvest Festival was led by Years 3 and 4. They shared poems and prayers, explained the meaning of Harvest and led the singing. They did an amazing job! All donations will be sent to two local charities - The Booth Centre and Porch Boxes.
