Year 5 children will look at timeline covering 3000BCE to present – from pharaohs and pyramids, gods and temples, and daily life for Ancient Egyptians and Greeks. Children will look at the materials used to make the magnificent pyramids and their suitability for the job. They will explore if other materials would have survived the ages in the same way. They will research life in each civilization and compare as well as looking at their modern day legacy.
